Year 3: Digital Art

During their Visual Representations IPC Topic, the year 3 children have been looking at ways to create Digital Art. We focused on the painting Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh and spent a while discussing brush techniques and colours.

The children then used the website Sumopaint to re-create the painting. Sumopaint can be used online or installed on the iPads as an app. The children tried out a variety of different brush styles and techniques to create their version of Starry Night and they were all very happy with their finished work.
