Year 3: Photographs and Word Processing

I have been working with the Year 3 children to practice taking quality photographs using the iPads.

We spoke about what makes a good photograph and what not to do, and came up with a "Do's and Don't list" for each class.

The children then went to the Green Space with their class teachers and used that list to take various photographs. Once all the photographs had been uploaded to the Google Drive, the children used the computers to choose their favourite photograph and write about it.

Here are some of the chosen photographs:

Digital Art: Taking Autumn Pictures with the iPads with Reception children

The Reception children went down to the Green Space today and learnt how to use the iPads to take photographs. We took lots of lovely photos of Autumn things and thought carefully about what colours we were looking for.

Here are some of the amazing photographs the children took. We were very impressed with their ICT skills!

They were looking for signs of Spring! They took the iPads to record these wonderful discoveries. Look at the fantastic pictures they took!

Digital Art: Taking Photographs of Flowers and Insects

This week, the Year 1 children have been to the Green Space in search of Flowers and Insects.

They took the iPads with them to take pictures of any flowers and insects that they saw. WOW! The Greenspace is alive and full of many many different types of insects.

Here are a few pictures of what they found.
